Every day we offer fresh salads and bowls that are healthy and delicious. Light and wholesome soups, whose offer varies according to the season, complete our lunch assortment. For those who like it hearty, hot menus are available, offering the best of local and seasonal ingredients. For a quick snack or a side dish, our delicious sandwiches and classic canapés make every lunch a special experience.
Last September a dream comes true: a very personal note can be given to our chocolate products after one and a half years of developing our own chocolate couvertures. The names given to our Grand Cru Chakra Noir 70% 66h and Grand Cru Chakra Lait 40% 36h comes from the Chakra-gardens of the indigenous Kichwa community of Napo in the Amazon region of Ecuador. Cocoa is grown in accord with nature, using the ancient methods of the Kichwa peoples. Utmost care is taken in defining the forest space to be used for a Chakra which contains over a hundred plant species. Income generated from the sales of cocoa beans to Felchlin, Schwyz secures education and health care of the Kichwa. At Felchlin the coca beans are transformed into chocolate couverture, ensuring that the harmonious cocoa aromas flourish. The milk chocolate impresses with wonderfully light caramel notes, and the dark chocolate with its notes of roasted cocoa beans and refreshingly light fruity acidity of blackberries and black currant. As we do not wish to influence the authenticity of our product, we have refrained from using any additives such as emulsifiers (soya lecithin) or aromas such as vanilla.
Founded in 1905 on Rennweg, Confiserie Honold is one of the oldest chocolate manufactures in Zurich. Today, we are still family-owned and run by the great-granddaughter of the company founder. Together with her team, she opened the manufactory and shop in Küsnacht in 2012. Here, our diverse range of products is made daily from high-quality ingredients and delivered to all our branches.
